Sportsman Rear door and BAS pull handles
The GlaStar has lots of carrying capacity and the rear door makes it easy to use.
Things we did and did not do and you should know. Installed BAS tail handles, Outside antennas and Glastar aileron servo tab. Omitted the large VG strakes on the wing (they can easily be added later) and was given an airworthiness certificate without them.
Striking high visibility paint scheme based on Navy test pilot school DeHaviland Beaver. Not like any other GlaStar. Clearcoat failed on left wing and top of fuselage, blistering. Overall paint is a 4-5. MGL avionics and autopilot are infinitely customizable, a feature from MGL but not particularly user friendly. MGL auto pilot servos are heavy an can be felt on the controls, again a feature from MGL.
It flies great. I don't have time to fly it anymore. It sits in a heated hangar at the Longmont airport and can be seen there by appointment.

The inspiration for the paint scheme. High visibility.
